Checkatrade Let Us Down

We were totally reliant on Checkatrade to find us a trustworthy expert for our renovation project. We registered and listed our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left in the lurch.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade prioritizes their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you believe Checkatrade. Their whole operation is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they deliver nothing. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as incompetent as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like pulling teeth.

So, avoid them like the plague of Checkatrade if you value your money.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?

We thought we were doing the right thing by using Checkatrade read more to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

First, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and gave us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's helpline was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

My story with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I engaged a trader through their platform to carry out some vital home repairs. They looked trustworthy at first, but it ended up a terrible ordeal.

Despite I paid the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Getting a response became impossible. It's been a truly agonizing period, and I'm still left with unfinished repairs.

Checkatrade has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been scammed.
